Let Us In…

Verse:

they traveled so manys miles, and wandered through many valleys

searching through many streets and checking through many alleys

crossed over many mountains, forest with many trees

channeled through many rivers, and charted through many seas

but he was nowhere to be found, they couldn’t hear the sound

100 miles and running but never footed the ground

until they discovered a cabin deep in a treacherous winter

that sat alone on a prairie, surviving a wicked blizzard

with skin tough as a lizard and blood colder than ice

they bully through snowfall to catch a glimpse of fire like

could he be home? could he be cold within his zone?

and is he still a king with a broken throne?

the light went off now he’s back in the dark again,

comfortable in the shadow so he can hide his heart again

he doesn’t trust in his infrastruture the weakness is

they knock on the door, like Christopher please let us in
